Choosing Your Starting Point

Everyone enters the world of concealed carry at different stages. Some have lots of experience with firearms and shooting on a range, while others have very limited experience. It is everyone’s Second Amendment right to carry, and we want to make sure you are prepared.

This class is designed for those with experience with firearms and pistols, with the focus of getting each student to the point of safely, legally, and confidently carrying a firearm for self-defense.

If you already have experience with firearms, the Concealed Carry Class is sufficient training to allow you to legally and safely carry in Michigan and all reciprocity states.

Not sure if you’re ready?

Do you need some preparation to ensure you are entering the class with proper pistol handling skills and the correct terminology? Can you operate your firearm and hit a target at 21 feet?

If not, sign up for the Intro Pistol Class first.

What is “Sit In / Audit”?

Many people ask to accompany someone in the class or use the class as a refresher. We created a way for you to sit in and be part of the day without taking the test or receiving a certificate. Depending on class size, a sit-in participant may or may not be able to take part in the shooting portion.
